Privacy Policy

Puppy Tab — Last updated: April 2, 2026

Puppy Tab is a Chrome extension that replaces your new tab page with a looping YouTube livestream player. This policy explains what data the extension does and does not collect.

Data We Collect

We collect no personal data. Puppy Tab does not collect, store, transmit, or share any information about you or your browsing activity.

Local Storage

The extension stores your most recently selected video stream in your browser's sessionStorage. This data never leaves your device and is cleared when your browser session ends.

YouTube Embeds

Puppy Tab loads YouTube videos through an embedded player hosted at puppy-tab-v2.vercel.app. When a YouTube video loads, YouTube may collect data according to their own privacy policy. We have no access to or control over that data. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for details.

Third-Party Services

The proxy page that enables YouTube playback is hosted on Vercel. Vercel may log standard web server request data (e.g., IP address, timestamp) as part of normal infrastructure operation. We do not access or use these logs to identify users.

Permissions

Puppy Tab requests only the permissions necessary to override the new tab page. It does not request access to your browsing history, bookmarks, cookies, or any other sensitive browser data.

Children's Privacy

Puppy Tab is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised "Last updated" date.
